CE Fantasy Football League
Other sports boards that I am on have a fantasy football league for members. If there is enough interest, I, or someone else, will set up a private league for the board. What say you?

How can we play it here? Is it really time-consuming?

It's as time consuming as you want it to be. I would sign us up on yahoo or espn as a private group and then send invites to those interested.
Basically, you pick real players to be on your "team". Your "team" acquires points based on the real performance of your players. You have to decide each week what players are going to "start" and what players will be left on the bench. The program will do the matchups and scoring, as well as playoffs.

Since the program will pretty much do everything for me, that won't take a lot of time. What do we win? I know some of my friends win money and stuff, but what do we win here? Maybe we can also have a fantasy football winner recognized as well.

I would like to get at least 10 teams. If we get less, we will send invitations to friends outside the board. The draft is set for Sun Sept 5 7:30 Eastern. Please read the league notes, test your system and check out the league settings. People who have done this before please help the newbies to make it fun for all. The draft order will be random.
